Our Origin Story

The Couch
Reflection

Chore Chronicle wasn't built in an office. It was born on a quiet couch after bedtime, in those late-night moments of reflection when family time turns into family vision.

Why I Started This

As a parent, I found myself constantly stuck in the "negotiation loop." "If you clean your room, you can have 10 more minutes of screen time." It was exhausting, repetitive, and felt more like management than parenting.

I realized that my 11-year-old wasn't lazy; he just wasn't engaged. He loved video games, quests, and rewards. So, I thought: what if we turned the house into a game world? What if a "clean room" was a completed quest, and "setting the table" earned you XP?

"The goal wasn't just to get chores done—it was to teach responsibility through play, and to build a language of harmony within our home."

Today, Chore Chronicle is more than just an app. It's a tool for families to sync across households, teach discipline without the drama, and celebrate the small wins together. We're on a mission to turn every home into a place of thriving adventure.
