By opening a Chore Chronicle family account, you (the parent/guardian) agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

If you use Google Auth, your Google ID acts as your unique identifier for agreement purposes.

Minor heroes: You certify that any child users in your household are under your direct legal supervision and that you have the right to share their metadata with us.

No Quest Abuse: Do not use chore descriptions to create harmful, abusive, or inappropriate content.

Real Rewards: Chore Chronicle facilitates the digital tracking of rewards. Parents remain 100% responsible for the fulfillment of physical rewards (e.g. 'One Trip to the Park').

Accuracy: Users should not manipulate the app to falsely report quest completion or XP gains.

Firebase Auth Integration: We use Google Firebase for authentication to protect your household data.

Keep Shared Codes Secret: Your Family Sync Code is your digital key. Pass it only to trusted co-parents or family managers.

Unauthorized Access: Notify our support hero immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your family quests.

Cloud-Powered Architecture: Our app relies on Google Cloud/Firebase backend infrastructure.

Maintenance: We strive for 99.9% uptime, but we are not liable for quest interruptions during planned maintenance or carrier network outages.

Modifications: We reserve the right to update or modify features (quest types, themes, reward structures) to improve the experience.

You may close your Quest Log (account) at any time through the app settings.

Termination for Misuse: We reserve the right to disable accounts that violate our conduct code or our technology provider (Google) policies.

Post-Termination: All data associated with the account will be purged according to our Privacy Policy.
